The manufacturing process of submersible pump cables and round submersible cables is done keeping in mind tough and difficult conditions in which they have to operate or perform. These cables confirm to ISI and are mark IS:694:1990.

CAPITAL Multi Core Flat Cables consist of 3 insulated cores laid side by side and extruded over it using black sheathing grade PVC. These cables are flat in nature and therefore are called Flat Cables. Cores are not laid up in this type of cables and are parallel to each other. CAPITAL three core flat cables are manufactured under stringent quality control systems. CAPITAL three core flat cables are ideally suited for heavy duty applications in submersible pumps, in which the sheathing must withstand abrasion and prevent ingress of water inside. The sheathing is made of special grade sheathing PVC which gives the required finish and strength.Detailed description of Submersible flat cable :

• Conductors: The conductors are drawn from bright electrolytic grade copper annealed and bunched together & have 99.97% - 99.99% Purity.
• Insulation: Bunched conductors are insulated with specially formulated PVC compound having high insulation resistance values.
• Sheathng: 3 Core are in parallel position and sheathed with a special grade of PVC Compound which is impervious to water, grease, oil etc.
